Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Registered Nurse

• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Start Date: ASAP
• Setting: General medical-surgical / swing bed level of care
• Additional Notes: Floating and call may be required based on census and clinical needs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to provide safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Comfort with floating within scope of practice and clinical competency
• Ability to complete New Mexico fingerprinting requirements prior to start
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to Med/Surg and swing bed patients
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments according to plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the medical record
• Float as needed within scope of practice and clinical competency
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, safety, and quality care throughout the assignment
