Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit in Columbus, Ohio. Job Details

• Location: Columbus, OH 43210
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 11/2/2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week
• Weekend Coverage: Required, approximately 3-4 weekend days per month
• Float: Required within the organization as needed
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940-$2,040

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Valid RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Comfort with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience supporting adult and geriatric patients preferred
• Ability to adapt to float assignments and maintain strong teamwork
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry patterns and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and support treatments in accordance with clinical standards
• Perform and maintain IV access, manage peripheral lines, and support PICC care as needed
• Assist with chest tubes, oxygen therapy, isolation precautions, and rapid response support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, efficient patient care
• Float to other units within the organization as needed
• Support patients with a variety of diagnoses and procedures in a busy, evolving care environment
