• Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Schedule Notes: Posted every 6 weeks based on unit needs; every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Floating: May float to Postpartum, Antepartum, or nearby sister units as needed

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• High-risk L&D experience strongly preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; compact license accepted if active at submission
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Epic charting experience required
• Comfortable working in a high-acuity, high-volume obstetric care environment
• Must be able to circulate and provide newborn care, including assessments and medications
• Ability to support fetal monitoring and labor management workflows
• Available to work holidays and weekends as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care for laboring and postpartum patients in a busy maternity unit
• Circulate for C-sections and support safe operative deliveries
• Perform newborn care in the delivery room, including assessments and transition to postpartum
• Administer newborn medications and complete immediate newborn care tasks
• Monitor fetal status and respond quickly to changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and rapidly changing patient needs
• Manage labor medications and interventions according to unit protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive birth outcomes
• Float to related maternal-child areas as assigned based on clinical need
