• Shift: 12-hour night shifts; weekends as scheduled
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,040–$2,150
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; holidays rotate with regular staff; extra shifts may be available
• Charting System: EPIC

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience titrating IV drips in an ICU setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and scheduled weekends
• Comfort floating to med-surg as needed based on census
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-acuity nursing care to ICU patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, arrhythmias, detox, and mixed medical-surgical overflow
• Monitor, assess, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Titrate and manage common drips such as propofol, cardizem, insulin, precedex, and levo
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary support staff
• Read and interpret telemetry and monitor strips for ICU and med-surg patients as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and support safe, patient-centered care
• Float to med-surg when census is low while maintaining a strong standard of care
