• Position: Med-Surg Registered Nurse (Medical-Surgical RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Richlands, VA 24641
• Start Date: 09/10/2026
• End Date: 12/10/2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
• Schedule Note: Every other weekend required

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Strong communication, assessment, and time-management skills
• Ability to provide care for a diverse adult patient population
• Comfort working in a fast-paced acute care or hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg and adult acute care patients
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor patient status, and escalate changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols and care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, case management, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility standards
• Provide patient and family education, reassurance, and compassionate bedside support
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and patient-focused medical-surgical unit
