- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
- Scheduling: Self-scheduling; block scheduling required
- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
- Float Requirement: May float to PRN Pediatrics, PICU, or Pediatric ED as needed
- Orientation: 12 hours
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience
- Level III NICU experience preferred in a high-acuity neonatal setting
- Active RN license in hand at the time of submission; compact license required if applicable
- BLS and NRP Advanced certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to care for neonates with complex diagnoses including prematurity, respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, sepsis, and HIE
- Strong clinical skills in neonatal monitoring, ventilator support, and medication administration
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, fast-paced healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and skilled care to neonates in a high-acuity NICU
- Monitor and manage infants requiring respiratory support, thermoregulation, and specialized feeding plans
- Assist with advanced neonatal interventions including central line care, chest tube management, ventilator support, and arterial line monitoring
- Administer medications, blood products, and therapies according to neonatal protocols
- Support families through education, reassurance, and patient-centered communication
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes for fragile infants
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit standards in Epic
- Adapt to float assignments as needed while maintaining excellent patient care
