Travel NICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Livingston, New Jersey

• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Weekly Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Charting System: Epic experience required
• Floating: Required within NICU, Newborn Nursery, PICU, and Pediatrics based on skill set
• Start Date: 10/12/2026

Job Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in Level III NICU and PICU care
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong neonatal critical care skills, including medication administration and monitoring
• Ability to work in a high-acuity float pool environment with changing patient assignments
• Experience caring for neonates, including very premature infants, strongly preferred
• Must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and holiday rotations as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates in the NICU and other pediatric care areas as assigned
• Deliver specialized care in a Level III NICU setting with varying acuity and census
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, UAC/UVC care, and other advanced neonatal therapies
• Administer and monitor IV vasopressors, steroids, surfactants, and other critical medications
• Assist with ventilator management, including AC, PC, SIMV, CPAP, BIPAP, and PEEP
• Support feeding care and tube management, including bottle, breast, gavage, NG, and NJ feeds
• Care for infants with neonatal abstinence syndrome and other complex neonatal conditions
• Document accurately in Epic and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• Float as needed to NICU, Newborn Nursery, PICU, and Pediatrics while maintaining safe, patient-centered care
