• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Contract Length: 20 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920-$2,020
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required within the specialty as needed
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Unit Style: Higher-acuity telemetry with PCU experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at the time of submission
• 2 years of recent registered nurse experience required
• Strong telemetry, CPU/PCU, or progressive care experience required
• First-time travelers with strong higher-acuity experience may be considered
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• ACLS preferred
• CPI certification required for compliance
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced telemetry nursing environment
• Must be comfortable floating within scope and working scheduled holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside care for telemetry patients with complex cardiac and medical diagnoses
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to rhythm changes and dysrhythmias
• Administer and manage IV therapies, cardiac medications, oxygen support, and related treatments
• Care for patients with CHF, COPD exacerbation, NSTEMI, sepsis, renal failure/AKI, and arrhythmias
• Perform central line care, chest tube management, and other unit-specific clinical tasks within scope
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and uphold unit standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a higher-acuity acute care setting
