Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
  • Experience with IV starts, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation
  • Ability to work in a high-volume emergency department with adult and trauma-related cases
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, PALS, and MOAB
  • Must pass EKG testing prior to start
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Open to working every other weekend
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a varied patient population in a fast-paced ED setting
  • Perform triage, IV initiation, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation support
  • Care for patients presenting with STEMI, stroke, and trauma-related conditions
  • Monitor, assess, and prioritize patients in a busy emergency department environment
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, efficient patient flow
  • Document patient care accurately in Epic
  • Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and emergency situations
  • Support a safe, organized, and patient-centered emergency department experience
