• Position: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele Float Pool
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 12/15/2026
• Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Options: Days (7:00 AM-7:00 PM) or Nights (7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470-$2,600

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts in a travel nurse role
• Experience with self-scheduling and adapting to a float pool environment
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Float between Med/Surg and Telemetry assignments as needed
• Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry data, and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established nursing protocols
• Provide patient education and support discharge planning when appropriate
• Participate in a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays
