Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Experience supporting labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
- Ability to work rotating day and night 12-hour shifts
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills
- Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required
- Reliable transportation is essential, as public transportation is limited in the area
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process
- Monitor vital signs and assess maternal and fetal well-being
- Assist with clinical procedures and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Offer education and guidance related to childbirth, postpartum recovery, and lactation support
- Deliver emotional support and reassurance to patients and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and promote safe, effective patient care
