• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730-$1,820
• Openings: 3

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience highly desired
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented LTAC environment

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments within established timelines and use findings to guide individualized care planning
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care
• Support patient rehabilitation efforts and encourage progress toward individualized goals
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education early in the admission process
• Communicate changes in patient status clearly and promptly to the care team to support continuity and safety
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with policy and standards
• Provide direction and support to ancillary nursing staff, LPNs, CNAs, and orientees as appropriate
• Promote a safe, positive, and efficient care environment for patients, families, and team members
• Participate in team conferences, care coordination, and ongoing professional growth
