Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) opportunity in Columbus, Ohio. Join a fast-paced Emergency Department and deliver high-acuity emergency nursing care in a leading academic medical community.

ER RN Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility preferred
- Comfortable managing triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care
- Ability to work with adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations
- ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing education required
- Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, supervisor, or charge RN
Emergency Department Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy, high-acuity Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
- Administer emergency medications, manage IV therapy, and support procedural sedation monitoring
- Interpret dysrhythmias and initiate rapid interventions as needed
- Care for trauma, stroke, STEMI, psych hold, ventilated, and pediatric patients
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, interpretation services, and support staff
- Float as needed within the unit's care expectations
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all clinical and compliance standards
