We are seeking a compassionate and skilled ICU Registered Nurse with strong critical care experience to support a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Sanford, NC. • Shift Time: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekend Coverage: As needed / every other weekend
• Call: As needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Charting System: Cerner
• Patient Population: All ages
• Patient Ratio: 1:2-3

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or eligibility to work as a Registered Nurse in the state
• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required; 1-2 years preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI, HWC, or MAB training/certification required
• Strong critical care nursing skills with the ability to manage high-acuity patients
• Experience with respiratory failure and complex ICU patient care preferred
• Comfortable floating as needed within role expectations

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ICU patients with varying levels of acuity
• Monitor, assess, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient care
• Administer medications, therapies, and treatments according to established protocols
• Support patients experiencing respiratory failure and other critical care diagnoses
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and communicate patient updates clearly
• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining a calm, professional presence in a fast-paced critical care environment
• Promote a safe, organized unit environment and assist with float responsibilities when assigned
