• Position: Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Bowling Green, KY 42104
• Setting: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) / Rehabilitation
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience in acute care, Med/Surg, or rehabilitation nursing
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and care coordination skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Experience supporting patient education and discharge planning preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and use findings to develop individualized care plans
• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
• Communicate patient status changes promptly to the care team to support continuity and safety
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences and contribute to rehabilitation planning
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from admission through discharge
• Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing staff as appropriate
• Promote a safe, positive, and efficient patient care environment
• Support team collaboration, patient education, and quality outcomes throughout the assignment
