• Setting: Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
• Ventilator experience required
• BLS and PALS required
• Epic experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred, with willingness to charge on select shifts
• Experience with tracheostomy care, ventilator management, dialysis, or EVD preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate pediatric nursing care to patients with complex medical and surgical needs
• Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and other advanced therapies
• Care for a diverse population including cardiac, neurosurgical, respiratory, nephrology, orthopedic, and post-operative patients
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and other care partners
• Support charge nurse duties on select shifts when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold evidence-based nursing standards
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and family-centered care
