Job Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,110
• Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Openings: 3
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Holidays as scheduled

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS
• TNCC strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Comfortable floating within scope as needed
• Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care to pediatric, adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Support care for a wide range of emergency presentations, including trauma, respiratory distress, chest pain, stroke symptoms, overdose, seizures, and behavioral health needs
• Administer medications, start and maintain IVs, and support procedural sedation and critical interventions as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and use electronic health record systems efficiently
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment while responding to changing patient needs
