Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts and participate in call coverage as needed
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical and perioperative environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room setting
• Support circulating duties and assist with perioperative patient care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient procedures
• Prepare patients, maintain sterile technique, and monitor patient status throughout the surgical experience
• Assist with endoscopy and C-section cases as part of the surgical schedule
• Document care accurately in MEDITECH
• Respond to call requirements and contribute to reliable coverage for the unit
