Job Details

• Position: Travel ICU Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Setting: Acute Care ICU / Critical Care Unit
• Location: Marianna, Florida
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts per week
• Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Schedule Notes: Weekends and holidays as needed; every other weekend required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570-$1,650
• Start Date: Available immediately per assignment timeline

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing or high-acuity critical care experience required
• Experience with ventilators and tracheostomies required
• Strong background managing critical care drips, including sedation
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry strips
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• NIHSS and TNCC preferred
• Flexibility to float between comparable ICU-level areas as needed
• Comfortable adapting to changing patient acuity and unit needs

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and skilled nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and manage high-acuity patients with complex diagnoses and treatment plans
• Administer and titrate critical care medications and IV drips as ordered
• Support patients requiring ventilator management and tracheostomy care
• Assess, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Float between ICU-level areas when needed and assist with unit coverage
• Remain flexible and patient-focused in a busy, evolving acute care environment
