Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 to $2,100
• Schedule Note: Weekend call rotates every four weeks; call supports evening and night staffing needs and may include 2-, 4-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts
• Work Environment: Multi-specialty operating room with trauma coverage and a collaborative surgical team

Job Requirements

• Current Idaho RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of operating room nursing experience
• Trauma experience required
• Ability to work flexible shifts and participate in call coverage
• BLS certification required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Preferred: CNOR certification
• Preferred: experience with burn, robotics, or neuro cases
• Professional, open, and adaptable approach to perioperative patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the operating room
• Support a broad range of surgical cases, including general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, neuro, ENT, GI, urology, robotics, gynecology, plastics, ophthalmology, burn, and cardiovascular procedures
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care as assigned
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, surgical technologists, and the perioperative team
• Respond effectively to trauma and emergent surgical needs
• Maintain compliance with OR standards, policies, and safety practices
• Participate in call coverage to help meet staffing needs across evenings, nights, and weekends
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-focused surgical environment
