Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent telemetry, cardiac care, or acute care nursing experience
• Strong rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
• Experience administering cardiac medications and telemetry-approved drips
• Ability to respond calmly to high-acuity and rapidly changing patient conditions
• Comfort working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Basic computer skills and accurate clinical documentation proficiency

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients with complex medical needs
• Assess hemodynamic status and recognize changes requiring urgent intervention
• Administer prescribed medications and telemetry-approved infusions
• Support patients experiencing shock or other life-threatening complications
• Assist with emergency and elective cardioversions as needed
• Provide support for temporary pacemaker insertion and related cardiac care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Deliver safe, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s age and condition
