• Assignment Length: 18 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250-$2,370
• Schedule: Rotating day/night 12-hour shifts
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Estimated Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
• Orientation: Includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
• At least 1 year of recent perm experience in Med/Surg Tele, medical-surgical nursing, or a closely related specialty
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to work rotating shifts as needed to support operational coverage
• Comfort with med-surg and telemetry patient care in a dynamic acute care environment
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate during orientation
• Recent specialty reference from a manager, supervisor, ANM, or director preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Float to similar patient care areas as needed to maintain continuity of care
• Care for patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical needs
• Maintain a professional, flexible approach in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Support unit workflow while delivering a positive patient experience
