• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,550 - $1,630
• Schedule Note: Every other weekend required
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Float Expectations: May float to Ortho/Med-Surg as needed

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Strong knowledge of telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythms, and patient assessment
• Experience working with chest tubes and related acute care procedures preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative hospital environment
• Ability to maintain professionalism while delivering excellent patient-centered care
• Previous experience in acute care, med-surg, or cardiac nursing a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for telemetry patients with varying acuity levels
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly identify changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis as appropriate
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic health record
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and a positive care experience
• Follow unit-specific telemetry and stroke policies while maintaining strong clinical vigilance
