Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU or acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to stay current with critical care best practices and ICU standards
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers cannot be accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a MICU float role with assignment flexibility based on staffing needs
• Support a variety of intensive care specialties, including MICU, SICU, respiratory special care, and surgical progressive care
• Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in high-acuity settings
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to prioritize patient needs and maintain quality outcomes
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and professionalism in a fast-paced critical care environment
• Contribute to unit needs, including charge nurse duties when assigned
