Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse who is confident in a busy unit with a block schedule and strong teamwork expectations. This travel RN job is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys delivering excellent patient care, and is ready to make an immediate impact in an established obstetrical setting.

- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,900
- Location: Tulsa, OK 74104
Job Requirements
- Active RN license in Oklahoma or a Compact RN license at time of submission
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced maternal health unit preferred
- Basic to intermediate fetal monitoring experience required
- BLS and NRP required
- ACLS and AWHONN Intermediate preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and float to like units as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to obstetrical patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and recovery care
- Perform triage and support assessment of high-risk antepartum and labor patients
- Administer medications and manage interventions such as Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and insulin drips as ordered
- Support patients with breastfeeding education, postpartum assessments, and newborn bonding initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols and safety standards
