Travel to Portland, Oregon for a high-acuity Labor & Delivery RN assignment supporting antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients. • Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,180-$2,290
• Setting: High-risk Labor & Delivery unit with antepartum care
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Orientation: Provided prior to start

Job Requirements

• Active Oregon RN license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• High-risk L&D, antepartum, and postpartum experience strongly preferred
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Ability to float to Mother Baby as needed
• Strong comfort with obstetric triage and acute maternal care
• Professional references and recent work history verification required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients
• Support high-risk deliveries and obstetric triage workflows
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and recovery care
• Monitor fetal status and interpret external fetal monitoring patterns
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered, including oxytocin and magnesium sulfate
• Respond to obstetric emergencies with confidence and attention to detail
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Float to Mother Baby when needed to support unit operations
