• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week; 36 hours per week

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• At least 1 year of emergency room nursing experience or relevant specialty nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as scheduled
• RTO must be submitted at the time of application
• Strong critical thinking, communication, triage, and patient advocacy skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing reassessments in a fast-paced ER environment
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate safe, effective patient care
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Document care accurately and maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Support a safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency care experience for every patient
