• Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (18:30 - 07:00)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule Options: 36-hour or 48-hour weekly option available
• Approximate Shifts Per Week: 3 to 4 shifts, depending on the weekly schedule selected
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620 - $1,700
• Location: Albuquerque, NM 87102

• Orientation: Includes onsite orientation and training modules
• Setting: High-volume emergency department serving patients across all age groups

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Experience caring for adult and pediatric patients in an acute care or emergency department setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications preferred/required for consideration
• Comfort working nights in a busy, high-acuity emergency room environment
• Strong skills in triage, IV therapy, dysrhythmia recognition, and emergency interventions
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Trauma and charge nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Perform triage, assess patient condition, and prioritize care in a fast-moving emergency department
• Administer medications, initiate and maintain IV access, and support continuous patient monitoring
• Assist with trauma, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, and other emergent presentations
• Manage advanced emergency interventions such as blood product administration, sedation monitoring, and dysrhythmia treatment support
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellent patient outcomes
