• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Albuquerque, NM
• Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36 hours, with an option for 48 hours
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620 - $1,700
• Weekend Requirement: At least 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• Charting System: Epic preferred
• Setting: Busy Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required or preferred based on facility needs
• Experience caring for adult and pediatric patients in an acute care, trauma, or emergency setting preferred
• Ability to manage a 5:1 patient ratio in a high-volume, fast-paced ER environment
• Strong skills in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV insertion, and emergent interventions
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and a flexible schedule as needed
• Comfort with floating to like units within scope when required

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care in the Emergency Department
• Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients with a wide range of acute and critical conditions
• Perform triage and prioritize care for patients across multiple age groups
• Manage ventilated patients, arterial lines, central lines, and IV vasoactive medications as needed
• Support stroke, trauma, neuro, cardiac, and pediatric emergency presentations
• Administer blood products, procedural sedation, and emergency interventions according to policy
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, phlebotomy, and other support teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and promote exceptional patient safety, quality care, and teamwork
