We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic Emergency Department. This travel nursing opportunity is ideal for an experienced ER RN who thrives in an urgent care setting and is ready to make an impact from day one.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in the ER, Emergency Department, or a closely related specialty
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Epic experience required
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday
• Compliance with required onboarding and screening timelines

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Collaborate closely with physicians, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and prioritize care accordingly
• Support efficient patient flow while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and patient care
