• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
• Assessments: ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate completed during orientation

Job Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from AHA or the American Red Cross
• NIH Stroke certification required prior to start
• Epic charting experience required
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to complete all onboarding, compliance items, and orientation assessments
• Willingness to work every other holiday

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients during the night shift
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, complete patient assessments, and document accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Prioritize care for a dynamic inpatient assignment and adapt to changing patient needs
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety practices, and competency expectations
• Complete required orientation testing and ongoing assignment readiness requirements
