Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong communication, de-escalation, and patient safety skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare team environment
- Current certifications as required by facility policy
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition or behavior
- Support therapeutic treatment plans and maintain a safe, structured environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
- Administer medications and complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Use de-escalation techniques and clinical judgment to support patients during behavioral health crises
