• Shift: 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Schedule Notes: Weekend coverage required; block scheduling is not guaranteed
• Additional Highlights: Scrubs provided; first-time travelers are welcome
• Float Expectations: May float to High-Risk OB and nearby facilities as needed within scope of practice

Job Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN license in hand at submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• 2.5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery or high-risk OB nursing experience preferred; minimum 2 years required
• Recent specialty experience within the last 12 months
• Ability to pass the dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing; only two attempts are allowed
• Willingness to float as needed while staying within scope of practice
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must meet all pre-employment, compliance, and immunization requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate Labor & Delivery nursing care to laboring, antepartum, and high-risk obstetric patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support deliveries, obstetric interventions, and emergency care in a fast-paced Level III setting
• Care for patients on continuous monitoring and assist with High-Risk OB workflows as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote excellent outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly in Epic or other charting systems
• Deliver family-centered education, comfort, and emotional support throughout the birth experience
• Adapt to floating assignments while maintaining a high standard of clinical excellence
