• Position: Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN)

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of current emergency department hospital experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification or equivalent competency
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• ENPC certification preferred
• Experience with high-volume emergency care preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• CEN certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent needs
• Support care for trauma, chest pain, stroke, and other acute presentations
• Assist with procedural sedation and emergency interventions as needed
• Care for patients requiring close safety monitoring, including behavioral health or at-risk patients
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Communicate clearly with patients and families in a compassionate, reassuring manner
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a calm, proactive approach
• Follow unit protocols and contribute to a positive, team-oriented night shift environment
