Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of emergency room nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• ENPC preferred
• Strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team
• Willingness to float to other units, departments, or patient care areas as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per clinical protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, efficient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth patient flow throughout the shift
• Adapt to changing unit needs and assist with floating assignments when required
