• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Schedule: Weekends as needed; first to float
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,400 - $2,530
• Orientation: Typically 4-6 customized shifts
• Charting System: EPIC
• Call Requirement: None

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Experience in postpartum care and circulating required
• Triaging experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
• Ability to titrate drips, including Pitocin and magnesium per protocol
• Comfortable floating to like units within the local area as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring, antepartum, postpartum, and well newborn patients
• Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Circulate for C-sections and support a busy Labor & Delivery environment
• Administer and titrate ordered medications and drips according to protocol
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive birth experiences
• Assist with triage, admissions, and postpartum recovery as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and uphold unit standards
• Adapt to first-to-float expectations while delivering excellent care across like units
