• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Location: Dover Foxcroft, ME 04426
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Unit: OB-GYN / Labor & Delivery
• Charting System: Cerner
• Additional Notes: Free parking available; may float to a low-acuity med-surg unit during low census

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• STABLE certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN) preferred
• Ability to work night shifts in a smaller-volume birthing unit
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn nursery patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Support patients and families throughout the birthing process with compassion and professionalism
• Assist with triage, admissions, and clinical documentation in Cerner
• Collaborate with leadership, anesthesia services, and the broader healthcare team to ensure safe patient care
• Float to a low-acuity med-surg unit when census is low, as needed
• Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive environment in a community hospital setting
