• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020-$2,130
• Schedule: Day/night rotation with weekend coverage as assigned
• Charting System: MEDITECH
• Floating: May float to Med-Surg when needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience in a similar setting
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• TNCC preferred
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
• Comfortable with occasional floating to Med-Surg
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and patient-centered care skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with acute illnesses, lacerations, orthopedic concerns, trauma, and cardiac conditions
• Support care for patients receiving common drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, and Nitro
• Perform and assist with EKGs, breathing treatments, and other Emergency Department nursing duties
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, and care team members to deliver timely, effective treatment
• Manage patient care in a compact emergency department environment with strong prioritization skills
• Float to Med-Surg when needed to support unit operations
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
