Join a high-acuity ICU team in Morgantown, WV for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in a fast-paced critical care environment. This ICU Registered Nurse opportunity offers the chance to care for complex Neuro ICU and Medical ICU patients while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team in a supportive acute care setting.

Travel Nurse Job Details

• Setting: Acute care hospital ICU
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, 3 shifts per week
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,040 - $2,150
• Charting System: EPIC
• Openings: 4

ICU Registered Nurse Requirements

• Recent ICU nursing or critical care RN experience
• Active RN license eligible for travel nurse placement
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience titrating critical drips in an ICU setting
• Comfort caring for neurocritical care and medical ICU patients with complex needs
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in weekend/holiday rotation
• Strong teamwork, clinical assessment, and prioritization skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate patient care in a high-acuity critical care unit
• Monitor and manage patients with stroke, head bleeds, dialysis needs, and other neuro-related critical conditions
• Titrate drips such as Levophed, phenylephrine, Versed, paralytics, heparin, insulin, nicardipine, and vasopressors as ordered
• Collaborate with intensivists, APPs, charge nurses, respiratory therapy, and ancillary support staff
• Assess patients, interpret clinical changes, and respond quickly to evolving situations
• Document accurately in EPIC and follow established ICU protocols
• Support a safe, efficient, patient-focused environment on a busy critical care unit
