Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• Strong clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Ability to provide high-quality care as a PACU nurse, recovery room RN, or perioperative registered nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality post-anesthesia nursing care in a busy PACU and surgical recovery setting
• Monitor patients closely after procedures, including vital signs, airway status, pain, and neurological changes
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate care as needed
• Support safe transitions of care for patients recovering from surgery or procedures
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the healthcare team to promote safe, efficient, patient-centered outcomes
