Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of perioperative safety practices and sterile technique
• Ability to adapt to a varied surgical case mix and a collaborative surgical team environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Assist with a broad range of surgical cases, including general, ortho, OB/GYN, GI, colorectal, ENT, and pain procedures
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic
• Support patient safety through universal protocol, fire safety, infection control, and specimen handling practices
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to promote efficient case flow
• Respond professionally to rotating call responsibilities and weekend coverage
• Deliver compassionate, attentive care to patients throughout the surgical experience
