• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Setting: Long-term acute care med/surg telemetry unit
• Location: Travelers Rest, SC
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 to $1,770
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 3x12 schedule
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, may vary based on unit needs
• Floating: May float to other qualified units as needed based on census
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in med/surg tele, LTAC med/surg, or PCU nursing
• At least 1 year of Epic EMR experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong telemetry, dysrhythmia recognition, and medical-surgical nursing skills
• Ability to provide compassionate care for adult and geriatric patients
• Flexibility to float to other qualified units when needed
• First-time travelers may be considered based on experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care on a med/surg telemetry unit in a long-term acute care setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify changes in patient condition, and respond appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Complete assessments, document care in Epic, and maintain thorough patient records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient progress and discharge planning
• Provide patient-centered care for a variety of medical-surgical and telemetry needs
• Float to other qualified units based on staffing and census needs
• Maintain a professional, compassionate approach on every shift
