• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week with call requirements
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days with call
• Weekend Call: Every other weekend, with 24-hour call coverage
• Charting System: EPIC
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• At least 1 year of recent acute care or operating room nursing experience required; CVOR experience preferred
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with call and participate in every other weekend call coverage
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and adaptability in a surgical and perioperative environment
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
• Flu vaccine required; medical exemption may be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room
• Assist with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures in a fast-paced OR nursing environment
• Monitor patients closely throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative process
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
• Respond to call requirements and support weekend coverage as scheduled
• Promote a calm, efficient, and patient-centered surgical environment
