• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, 7:15 PM - 7:15 AM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Call Requirement: One 12-hour call shift every 2 weeks with a 30-minute response time
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements

• Valid Oklahoma or multi-state Registered Nurse license
• Completion of an approved nursing program
• 0-6 months of related experience required
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, obstetrics, or maternal health preferred
• Epic experience required; familiarity with the Muskogee workflow preferred
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• NRP certification
• ACLS certification
• Proof of instruction/passage of Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Strong communication, organization, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process
• Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and clinical guidelines
• Provide safe, culturally sensitive care to patients throughout the labor and delivery experience
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changing maternal and fetal conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and support staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and patient education accurately and clearly in Epic
• Support patient teaching, discharge planning, and appropriate referrals for continued care
• Participate in quality improvement efforts, educational activities, and required in-services
• Use professional judgment to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patient needs efficiently
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, procedures, and patient care standards
