Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma or a valid multi-state RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with Epic required
• Strong knowledge of disease management, clinical pathways, and the bio-psychosocial model
• Ability to organize priorities, communicate effectively, and remain detail-oriented in a high-acuity setting
• Willingness to float as needed within the critical care environment

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients
• Use the nursing process to support safe, effective care in accordance with unit policies and standards
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Prioritize nursing tasks and anticipate unit and patient needs in a dynamic ICU environment
• Document patient care accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members
• Provide patient and family education that supports discharge planning and continuity of care
• Support quality improvement efforts, education initiatives, and unit standards
• Complete required reports and attend mandatory in-services
• Deliver compassionate critical care while considering cultural, psychosocial, and age-related needs
