Job Details

• Position: OB/GYN Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Shift Time: Nights
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130-$2,250
• Location: Rutherfordton, NC

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• Charge nurse experience required
• Experience in labor & delivery, mother/baby, pediatrics, antepartum, postpartum, and gynecology
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Current STABLE certification
• AWHONN fetal monitoring certification
• Ability to float as needed within the unit

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in labor & delivery, antepartum, postpartum, mother/baby, pediatrics, and gynecology
• Monitor patients using fetal monitoring equipment and support care plans based on acuity
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to promote positive outcomes for mothers, newborns, and pediatric patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across a diverse women’s services population
• Serve as a trusted clinical resource in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Float within the unit as needed to support patient care demands
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and follow established clinical protocols
