This Registered Nurse - Operating Room role supports the Main Operating Room and is ideal for a confident perioperative nurse who enjoys a fast-paced surgical setting. You will contribute to safe, efficient patient care throughout the surgical experience while working alongside a collaborative healthcare team.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN)
• Location: Ontario, Oregon
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40 guaranteed hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Call Requirement: 1 night per week, 5:15 PM - 7:00 AM
• Holiday Rotation: Required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,350 - $2,470

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Oregon
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of recent Operating Room experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt to a busy surgical environment and support call coverage as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in the Operating Room
• Assist with perioperative nursing workflow, including preparation, intraoperative support, and patient monitoring
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team to support efficient procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and uphold OR safety standards
• Respond to call requirements and weekend/holiday coverage as assigned
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
