Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing or high-acuity acute care experience
• Experience managing complex cardiac and critical care patients preferred
• Comfort working in a mixed IMC/CC environment
• Ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing, high-acuity setting
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing for ICU patients with advanced heart failure and related complex conditions
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as heart failure, arrhythmias, sepsis, renal failure, and respiratory compromise
• Support care for patients requiring advanced therapies and critical care equipment, including LVADs and Impella
• Titrate and manage vasoactive drips and other critical infusions as ordered
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Maintain flexibility to support unit needs during periods of higher acuity or staffing changes
