Job Details

• Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
• Location: Attleboro, MA
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $1,990
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Average Daily Census: 130-150 patients per day
• Patient Ratio: 1:4/5
• Weekend Coverage: Every other Friday and Saturday night
• Charting System: Cerner
• Medication System: Omnicell
• Orientation: 36-48 hours

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license in hand
• At least 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• First-time travelers considered with 2-3 years of experience; Cerner experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Comfortable caring for a broad patient population, including pediatric and adult emergency cases
• Experience with Cerner strongly preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and every-other-weekend coverage
• COVID-19 vaccination required; flu vaccination required with limited exemptions

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED setting
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring in a high-volume emergency department
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other ordered treatments safely and accurately
• Support patients requiring respiratory assistance, dysrhythmia management, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Initiate and maintain IV access, monitor central line care, and assist with complex emergency interventions
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate effective patient care
• Document care thoroughly and accurately in Cerner while maintaining strong medication management practices with Omnicell
• Follow infection prevention, isolation, and patient safety protocols consistently
