• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $1,990
• Charting System: Cerner
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend with holiday rotation
• Float: May float to Med/Surg Tele within scope

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience required
• Experience in telemetry observation, acute care, or cardiac monitoring preferred
• Strong ability to work independently in a telemetry observation setting
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to support adult and geriatric patient populations
• Compliance documentation required as part of the onboarding process

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for patients monitored in a telemetry observation unit
• Assess and interpret cardiac rhythms, recognizing changes in patient condition quickly and accurately
• Care for patients with varied medical diagnoses and occasional overflow surgical cases
• Deliver safe, efficient care without medication drips in a short-stay observation environment
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the Cerner charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support timely, high-quality patient care
• Adapt to unit needs and float within scope when required
• Maintain professionalism and flexibility while supporting weekend and holiday coverage
